Raymond “Skip” Ulrich, Jr., passed away at home on Wednesday, Nov. 14. Born in Akron, Skip was a graduate of St. Vincent High School, Class of ’64. He attended the University of Akron and was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity. A PeeWee Football coach for over 25 years, he had many interests, particularly golf. He often joked about doing business from his “swimming pool office”.

Preceded in death by his mother, Mary, and his step-daughter, Heather Fazzan, he is survived by his loving wife, Annette; his son and “best buddy”, Slater Raymond Ulrich; father, Raymond, Sr.; sister, Sue (Lou) Vassalotti; brother, Rick (Candy) Ulrich; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of friends.

Calling hours will be on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St.) where Rev. Mr. Robin Adair will officiate at a memorial service at 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family for a scholarship fund to be established for Slater.
