Condolence From: Nancy Ulrich Sheeler
Condolence: I was deeply saddened (and shocked) to learn of Skip's death. Learning of his passing brought so very many memories rushing forward. Even though we have been divorced for 32 years (can it really be that long ago??) I'm so pleased that most of the memories are good ones. Skip was always both so fun and so funny . . . always the life of the party. He was a good man. My daughter Chris, was a PeeWee cheerleader for Skip's team and it was a wonderful experience for her. Chris is also very sad to learn about Skip's death. He was "Dad" to her for seven years. She has lots of good memories as well.

We didn't keep in contact--other than the great story of when my current "Skip" (really, how can a person have two "Skips" in their life) and I refinanced our mortgage and I ran into Skip #1 and introduced him to Skip #2. Skip #1 and I had a great conversation. Skip told me that he married a wonderful woman and had a son, who was the love of his life. I was so glad to hear about his family. I was thrilled that he overcame challenges in his life and was leading a productive, happy, and healthy life. My deepest condolences to Annette and Slater.

Condolence: My son Tim Lusk played football with Skip as his Coach. Over the years My husband and I got to know Skip well. He was a great coach and a very special friend to my husband, Rodger. I lost him recently and my heart goes out to his family. Please hold dearly to the thought that he was liked and respected by the many people whose lives he touch.

Condolence: We were saddened to learn of Skip's passing. Some of the best time I spent in college were spent at the Sun Grille playing hearts all day long with Skip, Bill Bamler, and John Quinlan. We fondly remember sitting in the Chuckery trying to figure out his riddles. Great guy, great friend; you will be missed.

Condolence From: Dave Khoury
Condolence: I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Skip. He was my Big Brother in Theta Chi Fraternity. As I read the obituary this morning, I started to recall those years. Skip taught me how to play Euchre and we spent many hours in the chuckery playing cards. We also had a few signals like a tug to the ear to let you know he was loaded with hearts. We also spent a few hours on the weekend playing a game called Thumper. It was Skip who basically changed my life choice from business to education. He gave me two of the elementary schools to teach Physical Ed. at during College and I spent over thirty years in education; the best career move I made. Even though I haven't seen Skip in years I have fond memories of him that I will cherish forever. My sincere condolences to all. Sincerely, Dave Khoury
