Condolences

Condolence From: Nadine & Nathan
Condolence: We know that there are no words to ease the pain, the loss and the grief. They have all been said over and over. What we know is that the love will remain forever. The love and the memories will be alive and celebrated. In that spirit, Nadine translated a beautiful simple poem by Fritz Reuter, which she loves and finds very comforting: I only went into the room next door./ I am myself, you are yourselves./ What I was for you I am still./ Call me by my name as you have always done./ Speak to me as you always have done./ Do not live your life in any different way./ Be not solemn or sad./ Keep on laughing about which/ we laughed together./ I am not far away,/ I am only on the other side of the path.// Fritz Reuter// The German original is: Ich bin nur in das Zimmer nebenan gegangen./ Ich bin ich, ihr seid ihr./ Das, was ich für dich war, bin ich immer noch./ Gib mir den Namen, den du mir immer gegeben hast./ Sprich mit mir, wie du es immer getan hast./ Gebrauche nicht eine andere Lebensweise./ Sei nicht feierlich oder traurig./ Lache weiterhin über das,/ worüber wir gemeinsam gelacht haben./ Ich bin nicht weit weg,/ ich bin nur auf der anderen Seite des Weges. // Fritz Reuter//

Condolence: Mike was a good man and a kind soul, and the world is a dimmer place without his light. My prayers are with Janet and his family.

Condolence: There aren't really words for this kind of thing, especially for a teenage boy as bluntly spoken as me. Mike was always friendly and helpful, even jovial, when I came to the warehouse for work. I wouldn't have gotten past my first few months of delivery without his advice and I'll miss his conversation every week. Hope he's in a better place.

Condolence: To my love Michael... Although our time together was too short you will forever be in my heart. I will miss your smile and laughter. The love you showed to me, your children and your grandchildren was truly unique. You were a wonderful companion, father and grandfather. My heart is broken and may never mend until I can be with you again. I love you Mr. A.
