Edna R.  Epling (Warner)
Edna R. Epling, age 83, of Akron, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Akron City Hospital.

Edna was born September 24, 1931 in Spencer, West Virginia to the late Addison D. and Myrtle (Jarvis) Warner. She was a retail clerk with Acme-Click form many years prior to retiring. She was active with her community block watch. Edna enjoyed gardening and sewing, and was always willing to help her family and friends.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James C. “Jim” Epling.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Johnson Mitchell, her sons, Jim (Diane) Epling, and Harold D. (Flo) McAbee; four grandchildren, LaLonnie Johnson (Darien) White, Heather McAbee, Bob Cumpston, Dennis McCulvey; and Five great grandchildren.

Friends may call 5-8 PM Wednesday at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home, 811 Grant St. in Akron, Funeral service will be 10AM Thursday at the Funeral Home. Entombment Hillside Memorial Park.
