Obituary for Curtis E. Jones

Curtis E.  Jones
Curtis E. Jones, 64, of Copley passed away on June 3, 2015 after a long illness.

Born in Akron to the late Harold and Irene Jones, Curtis has been a Copley resident since 1983. In 2010 he retired as a delivery driver for the Plain Dealer after 35 years of service. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.

His survivors include daughter, Jennifer (Lee) Kirk; sons, Christopher and Nicholas; granddaughters, Emma and Miley; siblings, Penny Glover, Mike (Darlene), Kevin, Bill, and Betty Lou; close friend and former wife, Nora Jones. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Curtis P. Jones.

Calling hours will be on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St.) where funeral services will take place on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Northlawn Memorial Gardens where military honors will be rendered by American Legion Post 281.
