Obituary for Viola A. "Vi" Olminsky (Piechnik)

Viola A. "Vi"  Olminsky (Piechnik)
Viola A. Olminsky, 72, passed away on Nov. 9, 2015. Born in Canonsburg, Pa. the daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria Piechnik, Mrs. Olminsky was a long time Cuyahoga Falls resident. She was a member of St. Eugene Parish and had at one time served as secretary there. She was also belonged to the Red Hat Society and enjoyed making hand made greeting cards with her friends.
In 2004 she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion, and recently by her brother, Tony Piechnik. Her survivors include son, Harold, and granddaughter Shandi Rothman.
Calling hours will be on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (3333 Kent Rd. at Rt. 91). Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Eugene Catholic Church (1821 Munroe Falls Ave., Cuyahoga Falls,44221). Interment at Chestnut Hill Cemetery will follow.
Memorial donations may be made to the One of a Kind Pet Rescue or Heaven Can Wait Pet Rescue.
