Charlene Kuts (Vandiver), 70, passed away on August 13. Born in Akron to the late Charles and Anna Vandiver, Charlene has been a lifetime Akron resident.
She is survived by her loving husband, James; daughter Carol Jean (William) Hegerty; sons, Donald Wade (Shannon) Kuts and Jonathan James (Kelly Bailey)Kuts; brothers, Dan (Beth) Vandiver and Larry (Barbie) Vandiver; grandchildren, Maranda (Nick) Towns, Courtnae Bailey, Billy and Colton Hegerty, Jacob and Jenna Kuts, Kyle and Kaleb Bailey; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 10 at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St.) where family and friends may gather one hour prior to service time.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
