Obituary for Imogene Fisher

Imogene  Fisher
Imogen Fisher, 82, went home to be with the Lord on September 6, 2016. Born in Perry County, Ky, the daughter of the late Taylor and Nellie Smith, Mrs. Fisher has been an Akron area resident for most of her life. In 2002, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emmite. Imogene's life was centered on her family. She will be sadly missed by her children, Cherylene Cottrill (Jack), Gerald Fisher (Sandy), Michael Fisher (Aleta), Tanya Oakes (Jack), Kimberly Prince (Larry) Valarie Taylor, and Shanna "Mickey" Ferrell (Hermon); 21 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren. Besides her husband and her parents, she was also preceded in death by sons, David Lee Fisher, Emmite Fisher, Jr.; daughter, Gina Blevins.
Calling hours will be TONIGHT from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St.) where funeral services will take place on Friday at Noon. Interment will follow at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
