Obituary for John Lance

John A. Lance, 68, of Akron, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 14. Born in Akron, the son of Gordon A. Lance I and Anna P. Lance (Scott), John was a graduate of Firestone High School. Preceded in death by his father Gordon A. Lance I, he is survived by his mother, Anna; brother and sister-in-law, Gordon A. II and Judy; nephews, Jacob and Jeremy; and several cousins.

Pastor Debbie Gibbons will officiate at a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Copley Health Center, 155 Heritage Woods Dr., 44333.
