Obituary for Clifford M. "Cliff" Gainer

Clifford M. "Cliff"  Gainer
Clifford M. Gainer, 84, of Stow passed away on Dec. 27 after a long battle with Parkinsons and dementia. Born in St. George, WVA, the son of the late Clifford and Sarah Gainer, he has been an area resident for most of his life. A machinist, he was retired from Goodyear Mold. He belonged to Holy Family Parish. He loved his sports, especially baseball and basketball and enjoyed watching his son and grandson race cars. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
His survivors include wife of 62 years, Marlene; children, Robert (Peni), Bill, Bonnie, and Jeff (Dawn); sister, Sharon (Larry) Collins; grandchildren, Keith, Bobby, and Amber; and great grandchildren.
Graveside services will take place on Thursday at 12:30 at Silver Springs Cemetery.
The family would like to acknowledge Altercare of Stow and Hospice for their professional and loving care.
