Obituary for Loretta Kay "Red" Savage

Loretta Kay "Red" Savage
Loretta Kay “Red” Savage, 60, of Stow passed away on Jan. 20, 2017. Born in Akron the daughter of the late John and Catherine “Pat” Savage, she was a graduate of Ellet High School Class of ’76 and later from Gerber Beauty School. She worked at Leonardo’s and IGA before moving to Arizona in 1997. In Arizona she became a massage therapist. She returned to the Akron area in 2008.

Red will be remembered as “one of a kind”, a person who made an impression on anyone she met. Although she was often accused as always doing things “her way” she will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her, especially her siblings, Diane (Bob) McLaughlin, Yvonne Bosnyak, Mark Savage, Wayne (Laurie) Savage, and Matthew (Sandra) Savage; nephews and nieces, Karen McCambridge, Michael McLaughlin, Lora McCambridge, Julie (Matthew Richardson) McLaughlin, Justin Strauss, Douglas Savage, and Grant Savage; and great nieces and nephews, Lily, Caydence, Isaac, Julian, and Adelyn.

Friends may call on Sunday, Jan. 22 from 11 to 1 at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (3333 Kent Rd. at Rt.91) where a memorial service will take place at 1:00.
