Mary Opal Wildroudt, 93, passed away on Feb. 17, 2017 while residing in Worthington, Oh. Born in Akron to the late Robert and Velma Johnson, she had lived most of her life in Stow before relocating to the Columbus area three years ago. For a number of years she worked as a sales associate for the M. O’Neil Co. before her retirement. Mary was a long-time member of Holy Family Parish.
In 1995 she was preceded in death by Don, her husband of 52 years, and later by her son, Donnie, in 2007.
Her family was her life, and she will be sadly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Cyndi and Chuck Schultz; grandchildren, Jason (Nicole) Wildroudt, Devin Wildroudt, Joshua (Amanda) Wildroudt, Charles (Erin) Schultz, Dawn (Leigh) Kriz, and Colleen (Rob) Troll; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Humble, Ann Yelling, and Betty Long; and brother, Kenny Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (3333 Kent Rd. at Rt. 91). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, interment, Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Family Church.
