Condolence From: Tim McFadden
Condolence: To Susie and all the family,
I just wanted you to know that I share your loss. Although my pain can not match yours, I am hurting too. Rick was a dear friend for many years. Initially we met when he was at WSLR and I was bringing RCA acts by the station. We were pretty much instant friends. Saying hi to he and Nick and Jaybird. Then after I was promoted and moved to Nashville, we kept in touch through the occasional call or at CRS. Then interesting enough, we worked a lot of the same records when he was at Curb and I was an indie and then again when I was one of Tim McGraws managers. And then of course came Facebook. Haha. He was a master at it and loved playing those practical jokes with his funny photoshopped pics. I was one of those he would post to the pages all those funny memes and images. We didn't talk much on he phone, but kept a running conversation going through those photos we would share on each other's pages. So many great memories over those 30 plus years. Just wanted you to know that Rick was loved by so many in this crazy music business. Not just me. The conversations I had this week at CRS were a testament to that and more than once we raised a glass to his memory. I hope you feel the love that is being sent by many like me and it brings you all some peace. I am sad that I couldn't make it yesterday and today but please know that I was there in spirit and he has not been far from my thoughts. With love and peace. Tim.

Condolence: Dear Cardarelli Family, Our deapest sympanthy to you all. Heaven has truly gained a special angel, and all will be listening to him with that beautiful voice! We have many fond memories of the days our daughter Amanda spent at your home. We'll never forget the night we stayed outside takling before getting in the car and all the sudden bats started diving at us. Also the time Adam spent the night at your house and got homesick so he gave you big story on why he HAD to leave in the middle of the night.
Rick was truly a wonderful father to his children and their friends. You will all be in our prayers.

Condolence: We lived across the street from each other for years. Your Grandpa Spinelli lived next door. He used to give me a quarter to go get ice cream. I never told him the ice cream was fifty cents. I loved that man. You joined the Navy on the buddy system with my brother Marty, your best friend at the time. Marty even named his first child after you. You guys were 5 years older than me, so I was only 12 when you guys joined the Navy. You were my hero, you will be greatly missed by all. I love you Rick! So sorry Suzy.

Condolence: You can't have a memory of Rick without smiling! I remember all the baseball stories we shared at WSLR in Akron when Rick did his show and I'd come in to read the news. Rick also taught me about the importance of timing in radio. He was passionate, devoted to his craft and Italian! I could relate! I will miss his humor and good nature. Rest in peace, my friend. And thank you for all the wonderful memories you brought to the lives of so many...

Condolence: My Dearest Friend Rick,

You have been an amazing friend and will always have a special place in my heart. We were best friends at 13 and still at 66. When thinking back to our many hilarious "escapades" from grade school at IHM, to Falls High, and in our later years going to Indian's games so I could root against your darn Yankees. There is a special place in heaven for you where you can look down over your beloved baseball team. I will truly miss your daily emails that always lifted my spirits.

Much love, Brian Patsy
