Obituary for Geraldine R. "Gerri" Fuson (Thomas)
Geraldine R. Fuson, 73, of Akron passed away on August 24. Born in Akron, to the late Harold and Doreen Thomas, she was life-long Akron resident. She had retired from Akron General Medical Center, after 26 years. Gerri was a member of Life Springs Christian Church.
In 2016 she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Chester.
Her survivors include daughter, Nora (David); son, Richard; grandson, Tyler; sister, Sandy; brothers-in-law and sisters-in law; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St.) where Rev. Terry Baker will officiate at funeral services at 7. Committal service and interment will take place on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery.
