Dear Bridget & family, I am so very sorry. I did not know of Fig's passing until today. It has been 45 years since he, Kaye & I were in We the People together. I cherish that time. Fig could always make me laugh until I cried, doubled over, trying not to have an "accident". We spent numerous weekends at Kaye's singing, dancing, & playing a "murder game" in the dark. We would spend hours practicing choreography at his housd in Maple Heights. He also gave me a fear of driving next to a semi on the highway, explaining if the semi had a blowout, I would be toast. He would always talk about the perfect girl he wanted. I would shake my head & tell him his dream girl was a fantasy. He wanted a small girl with long brown hair & beautiful big eyes. Someone full of life, fun to be around, maybe a little shy, smart, cute, spontaneous, kind, caring, loved music & dance, & a whole lot more. I would tease him that this "perfect" girl only existed in his mind. Then the future Mrs. Fig Jankowski walked into the basement of St Pat's & proved me wrong. You do exist. I ran into Fig about 10 years ago. He told me you had married & he bragged about your boys. He told me the tragedy about Kaye. Those 2 are singing & those poor souls have to deal with all of their pranks. They will be 2 angels I will definitely will find when my time comes. Again, sorry for your loss.
